Stability of multicomponent Bose gases

A generalization of well-known renormalization group approach for dilute low-dimensional Bose gas to the case of multicomponent systems allows one to obtain some nontrivial results concerning the stability of Bose mixtures.

For inequivalent species, the stability conditions exhibit strong deviations from mean-field results.
Remarkably, novel phases with partial phase separation (or partial collapse) appear in a certain window of inter-species interaction and density.
