Nanotech Northern Europe 2008
Nanotech Northern Europe brings together the field’s top scientists and leading international companies in order to advance the beneficial use of nanotechnology. The 2008 event looks at eight topics:
- Health and Bio – Nanobiotechnology and nanomedicine
- Electronics – Nanotechnology for information and communications technology
- Energy – Sustainable solutions for energy and the environment
- Water - Nanotechnology and the global challenge of access to clean water
- Food – Nanotechnology and the food industry
- Construction - Nanotechnology for environmentally-friendly construction
- Safety – Safe development of nanotechnology
- Investment – Public Funding, Technology Transfer, Research/Industry Cooperation
Nanotech Northern Europe 2008 event is supported by a comprehensive consortium of partners.
This includes key organising partners from Denmark, the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation (DASTI), Danish Advanced Technology Foundation, Nano-Science Center at the University of Copenhagen, the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) at the University of Aarhus and Aalborg University, the Technical University of Denmark and Lund University. Nanotech Northern Europe also welcomes back Nokia and Veeco as event partners.
The lead organizer of Nanotech Northern Europe is Spinverse, a consulting and seed capital company focusing on the commercialisation of emerging technologies.
Nanotech Northern Europe 2008 takes place at Copenhagen’s Bella Center on 23-25 September, 2008 in parallel with two other exhibitions, ScanLab and BioTech Forum.
