PhD Position in Molecular Nano-Electronics

A PhD position is open at the Danish-Chinese Center for Molecular Nano-Electronics, which is part of the Nano-Science Center. The scientific aim of the research is to develop new insight that allow better control of the nanoscale supramolecular organization of electronic materials as well as the fabrication of devices with novel advanced functions. The work is highly interdisciplinary and includes aspects of nanoscale spectroscopy, chemical self-assembly and device fabrication. The position is available for immediate start. Read more here.

PhD Positions in Synthetic Biology

Fullyfunded PhD positions are available in the area of Synthetic Biology as of November 1st 2011 or soon thereafter. 4 PhD/Postdoc positions in theoretical studies of heating and cooling in molecular transport junctions

Nano-structured junctions with molecules bound between electrodes present interesting systems for molecular electronic and thermoelectric devices. These projects will investigate inelastic electron transport and heat transport in conducting junctions with a particular focus on strategies for controlling these processes chemically. Post-doc position in Molecular Electronics, Nano-Science Center, University of Copenhagen and Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing

The position is part of the Danish-Chinese Center for Molecular Nano-Electronics, which is a collaborative project between Danish and Chinese research groups in the fields of Physics and Chemistry of nanoscale electronics The work will be carried out at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, either at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, (http://english.nanoctr.cas.cn) or the Institute of Chemistry (http://english.ic.cas.cn) depending on the successful applicant's background and research interests.
