Scientific Computing in Chemistry Seminar

Associate Professor Dr. Niels Engholm Henriksen, Center of Molecular Movies, Nano-Science Center, University of Copenhagen speaks in the Scientific Computing in Chemistry Seminar. 

Abstract
In this talk, we will discuss the atomic-level description of chemical reactions based on the time-dependent Schrödinger equation. Insights into chemical reactions will be presented for problems like isotope effects in photodissociation and we will discuss concepts like atomic-level detection and control of chemical dynamics, i.e., "molecular movies" and laser control of chemical reactions.
