Business relations

Many talk about the necessity of cooperation between universities and industry. At the Nano-Science Center we do something about it. In 2008 we had 40 collaborative projects with 22 companies. Of these 40, 3 are bachelor projects, 12 are theses, and 10 are PhD projects. The remaining 15 are consultant services, commissioned research as well as large research projects.

We continue working to create more direct access to the Nano-Science Center for businesses, industry, NGOs and trading environments. This is done through the Nano-Science Center's membership of the high tech network Nano Connect Scandinavia, which aims to build bridges between the business community and universities. We also have events arranged entirely by the Nano-Science Center, eg., Science Dating.
