Nano-research receives honors in China

National Natural Science Foundation of China has just selected research in molecular nano-electronics, performed in Danish-Chinese Center for Molecular Nano-Electronics for "Selected Works of the Outstanding Achievements".

- It is an honor for us to be chosen among more than 185 international projects. Our project is thus described in a Chinese publication that brings together descriptions of 10 projects, says Associate Professor Bo Wegge Laursen, who is general manager of the Danish-Chinese Center for Molecular Nano-Electronics and associated Nano-Science Center.

Danish-Chinese Center for Molecular Nano-Electronics was opened in 2009 and has activities in both Copenhagen and Beijing, more than 50 researchers are affiliated center, where among other research to design and synthesize organic molecules with specific electronic functions.
